Designed specifically for
today's smaller, lighter projectors in mind, Draper's MPL
fits within an existing ceiling grid. Three sets of scissors
stabilize projector laterally and front-to-back, while a
tubular motor lowers the unit up to 48" into the room using
tough Kevlar straps. Lifting capacity 35 lbs.
The Micro Projector Lift (MPL) is small
and convenient, just like the projectors it is designed to accommodate.
Weighs only 35 lbs (13 kg.)
The closed height of the lifting unit is
only 5" (13 cm) tall (not including projector mounting mechanism or
closure), so just a minimal amount of overhead ceiling space is
required.
Maximum extension is 4' (1.2 meters)
All components can be serviced from
below the unit, so the ceiling need never be opened
