The new Hitachi Performa CP-RS55 projector bridges the gap between
corporate and residential environments by providing 1,500 lumens of
brightness at an extremely lightweight (4.84) pounds.
The Hitachi Performa CP-RS55 model projector is targeted for the emerging
digital lifestyle market, which is comprised of ubiquitous technologies in
the home and office, such as laptops, PDAs and cell phones.
Until now, this category has not included display devices because of
issues regarding portability and price. However, with a brightness of
1,500 ANSI lumens at only 4.84 lbs., the new Performa CP-RS55 projector
features the high-end performance required for use in corporate/small
business environments, and an intuitive user interface makes it ideal for
home use.
The Performa CP-RS55 model features Progressive Scan Technology, which
lets users enjoy realistically beautiful images with no flicker. Its
Equalizing function (Gamma Correction and Color Balance) lets users make
adjustments to achieve the desired picture quality, and three Picture Mode
settings (Normal, Cinema and Dynamic) allows users to choose the best mode
to match the source.
The Performa also allows for a Whisper Mode option, which reduces fan
noise to 32 dB. This provides quiet performance in a variety of
applications, from living room to boardroom or classroom.
