The vr70p is the latest of the V-R Series from Marshall Electronics. This unit is designed to work as a stand alone, camera mounted or rack mounted monitor in a Leader or Tectronix Rackmount cradle. This unit can accommodate an NTSC composite video signal, or a S-Video signal. It has front mounted buttons with LED's and potentiometers for brightness,color, tint, and contrast controls. A Ratio button allows the unit to switch between 16:9 and 4:3 ratios.Its 10VDC-17VDC power requirements make it ideal for field use and can be powered from Anton Bauer or similar battery systems by using a special Marshall adaptor. Like all the V-R Series, this unit is built out of steel and aluminum for years of durability yet weighs only 1.8lbs making it ideal for use on top of a camera or camcorder (use optional hotshoe adapter V-LCD-MT). An SDI version will be available later this year.
