Engineered specifically for public
display, the NEC Plasma 50PD2 has an extremely bright 50" wide VGA
plasma monitor with contrast at 630:1, creating razor sharp, large-scale
images that command attention.
Features include 2x2 and 3x3 matrix display capabilities that can
create a diagonal image up to 100" with no external equipment.
And NEC’s exclusive AccuShield Phosphor Protection System with an
orbiter mode can be programmed to allow for a variable range of
movement and speed, greatly reducing the chance of screen burn and
prolonging the life of the plasma display. In addition, the NEC
Plasma 50PD2’s
video processing includes motion-compensated 3-D scan conversion
and 3/2 pull down for smooth, life-like video.
Other features include an audio line out that supports the use of
separate powered speakers, three user definable color temperature
settings and simultaneous connection of both types of video sources.
A programmable auto-timer turns the monitor on and off at pre-programmed
times, so the monitor virtually operates itself. And self-diagnostics
allow the monitor to identify operating problems and communicate
them to the user. The cabinet design and a cable management system
provide space for an internal PC and conceal unsightly cabling.
And landscape and portrait installation capabilities provide added
flexibility for image displays.
The latest version of NEC Plasma's groundbreaking PD series, the 50PD2
is equipped with several new features that will help you deliver

Built-in
