Main Features

1. Only 0.4W of power consumption in standby mode*1, thanks to an environmentally friendly design

- SANYO's first ecological data projector with 0.4W standby power consumption*1
- By redesigning electrical circuits, a standby power consumption savings of about 80% was achieved compared to a previous SANYO model*2
- These products conform with the EuP-Directive Lot 6*3, and the EU RoHS Directive*4
- As an additional environmental measure, the packaging contains pulp molds, which can be recycled as used paper

*1 When Standby mode: "Eco" is selected
*2 Previous SANYO model: LP-XW60
*3 A directive of the EU that requires environmental design features for energy-using products (EuP)
*4 The Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations

2. 'Easy Setup Function' enabling easy setup and operation even for novice users

- 'Auto Input Signal Search' function automatically performs the projector input settings
- 'Auto Vertical Keystone Correction' function*5 automatically eliminates vertical distortion.
- 'Guidance Function' displays connection instructions on the projection screen when no signal is detected, enabling easy setup even for the novice users

*5. Vertical keystone correction of ±30 degrees

3. Easy operation and management through a wired LAN

- As the new products are equipped with a wired LAN terminal (RJ-45), the projectors can be controlled and managed through a network
- With the wired LAN connection, it is possible to change settings for turning projector power on/off or switching input signals, from a remote location, and the lamp usage time and conditions can also be monitored
- Rapid maintenance response can be carried out thanks to a function that automatically sends notification to preset email addresses in the event of projector problems
- By installing the included PJ Network Manager software into a computer, a user can centrally monitor the operation conditions of all projectors (up to 200) on a network. This greatly reduces the work involved with multiple projector management.

4. Other Features

- High-brightness projection of 2,600 lumens (LP-XW250), or 2,200 lumens (LP-XW200)
- 'Timer Function' enables well-paced presentations, through the display of elapsed time
- 'Freeze Function' allows the screen image to be paused
- 'Color Board Mode' realizes normal projection on a colored surface

Outline and Background

In recent years, the increasing level of CO2 emissions has turned into a social issue. Consequently, energy and resource-saving design and other environmental considerations have become important features in electronic products. Various regulations requiring power-saving specifications have also been tightened worldwide, and the need for energy-saving products is increasing.
In order to meet the needs of today's market, the newly launched LP-XW250 and LP-XW200 projectors offer a standby power consumption level of just 0.4 watts*1. Moreover, the 'Easy Setup Function' means that anyone can use these projectors with ease and convenience in an office or classroom. Finally, the wired LAN terminal (RJ-45) enables easy network control and management of multiple projectors, including powering on and off.
