S-Video is a high performance video connection and
is available on most newer TVs, DVD players, satellite receivers, and
VCRs. S-Video splits the video signal into separate color and
brightness channels for high quality picture. S video cable is
adequate for VCRs but for DVDs and home theater we recommend using
component video cables.
