This Toshiba 42" 42DPC85 Custom series EDTV is an excellent choice for a small home theater, it features a 3000:1 contrast ratio, and a SoundStrip Speaker System for clear sound with SRS WOW. SRS WOW technology takes the performance of the television's existing speakers to a whole new level, offering the consumer superior sound quality with no additional speakers required, SRS WOW consists of three separate sound expanding systems, which work together to extract buried" highs and lows. The three systems are, SRS 3D, TruBass, and FOCUS.
This Toshiba 42DPC85 is
conveniently equipped with an Illuminated Universal Remote Control,
and features HD Dynamic Contrast, This feature increases Contrast
and Color Saturation to create deep, rich images. The intelligent
circuitry analyzes both the dark and bright areas of the picture,
and separately optimizes the dynamic range in each area of the
picture (Last year only dark areas were optimized). Picture
enhancements include Luminance transient improvement, Green
Enhancement, and Blue Stretch. This circuit was only active in
Sports Mode, and is now available with all video signals, including
1080i.
