The
Zenith P50W38 50 inch Plasma Display Flat Panel monitor is a new unit from
Zenith, an 83 year old company. The Zenith P50W38 Plasma HDTV unit has many
nice features including Aspect Ratio Correction and Intelligent Image
Scaling. (no side bars in 4/3) 10 watts per channel ( speakers are an
option) A nice feature on this unit is the DVI with HDCP and RS-232 in which
is not available on many units and when it is, its a pricey option. The
Zenith P50W38 Flat Panel Plasma Display is fanfree so it is very quiet and
Zenith has given a life of 30000 hours. It also includes a antiglare filter
but still puts out 1000 cdm with the filter installed. This unit contains
the Faroudja chipset making it a very good choice for the home theater /
video market.
