Hitachi Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy

Hitachi has a MAP policy in effect on all consumer Plasma screens, and various other consumer products. This means that a Hitachi Authorized retailer is not allowed to advertise a price below the MAP price. Although we sell unit below MAP pricing, in order to maintain our Authorized Retailer Status we are not allowed to post this price.

Should you visit a site that advertises a price below MAP they are not an Authorized Retailer and are not getting the product through proper channels. This will affect your rebate status and possible your warranty. The origin of the product may also be in question. (B stock, Gray market, etc)
