The TVP-500F Plasma Tv Video Card from Aurora Multimedia is a high quality TV Tuner/Scaler with dual HDMI. It supports advanced functionality, like video format /scan rate conversions, audio effects, Closed Caption decoding, V-Chip, Sleep Timer, and more. In addition the TVP-500F has a FM tuner with RDS capability and station information which is displayed on the plasma. 1) What are the benefits to using the Aurora TVP-500F video card?

• The TVP-500F incorporates the most asked for features in plasmas today. This makes the Pioneer plasma and Aurora expansion card combination the most bang for the buck.

2) Which Pioneer plasma tv's are the TVP-500F compatible with?

• It’s compatible with Pioneer’s 4th Generation (ie PDP-504CMX) and higher plasma tv's.

3) Do I need the Aurora EXP-4 (4th Gen. Plasma Adapter)?

• No you don’t. Unlike the Aurora TVP-1000 Pro and the A304-HDCP cards, the TVP-500F is a bigger card and designed to fit into Pioneer’s plasmas without any sizing adapters.

4) How hard is it to install?

• It’s actually very easy to install. First, turn the plasma “OFF” and unplug it from AC power. If there is no card in the expansion slot located in the bottom rear of the plasma, just remove the two small screws holding the metal plate cover and insert the Aurora TVP-500F card and then tighten the thumb screws. If there is a card (Pioneer 5003 or 5004 card), remove it by loosening the two small screws and then insert the TVP-500 card in its place. Tighten the thumb screws on the card to secure it and then plug the AC power back on the plasma.

5) What does the card come with?

• The TVP-500F card comes with a full-featured IR remote that not only controls the card but also the Pioneer plasma functions, as well. An installation/user manual is also included.

6) What else do I need to make the TVP-500F card work?

• Nothing…just connect the sources (DVD, Satellite, Cable TV RF feed, etc.) to the card inputs and your done.

7) What is the warranty on the card?

• The TVP-500F has a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Product registration is needed for warranty to be activated.
